A pink-obsessed woman has forked out £4,000 to turn her house into a Winter Wonderland with a colour scheme that would be enough to make Barbie jealous.
Gemma Markland, 31, spent a week decorating her four-bedroom detached property in Wigan, Greater Manchester, with rose-gold ornaments including baubles, reindeers, and snowmen.
Gemma and her partner Kyle, 29, a sales manager, bought the house in September 2019, and she has spent over £50,000 turning it into a ‘pink paradise’.
To celebrate Christmas, she spent £4k kitting the house out, including spending £1,000 on a stunning bauble arch, designed by local florist, Kelly Louise Floral Artistry.
She also kitted out each room in the house with a rose-gold themed Christmas tree.
The couple – who live at home with Gemma’s daughter Grace, 12, from a previous relationship – set up an Instagram to document her progress and it has gathered a whopping 350k followers.
Gemma said: “I love the way it’s all turned out. We decorated a little last year, but nothing on this scale.

“The bauble floral arch outside the house cost around £1,000 but it was so worth it. We often get people stopping to take photos in front of it – it’s really eye-catching.
“I love this time of year and I wanted to go all out because we couldn't really celebrate last year."
The business owner began to gather the items throughout the year and started decorating the house in November.
She has five Christmas trees and two life-sized pink Nutcracker statues and four smaller ones.
Gemma added: "I found a lot of stuff online but also places like B&M for the baubles.
“My favourite piece has to be the candy cane themed tree in the kitchen. The tree is full-on pink which is hard to find.”
