Former teacher Mary Kay Letourneau was jailed twice for raping a student and became pregnant with two daughters before the father was even 15 years old.
Letourneau began a sexual relationship with Vili Fualaau when he was just 12-year-old and later married him after she was released from prison.
She was a 34-year-old married sixth-grade teacher at the time and her shocking crimes were uncovered when the two were found in a parked up minivan in Des Moines Marina, Seattle.
Letourneau lied to police by telling them the boy was 18, which led to them believing that a sexual act had taken place.
She denied there had been any touching involved and insisted she was babysitting Fualaau after leaving her home following a fight with her husband.
However, just two months after both were questioned about their relationship, Letourneau was revealed to be pregnant with the schoolboy’s child.
She was already a mum-of-four from her marriage at the time her relationship with the schoolboy had started.

The couple’s first child, Audrey, was born before Letourneau was sentenced as she was given a reduced six-month sentence following a deal over her plea.
She was briefly released from prison after three and had a court order to keep them apart but she was caught again having sex with Fualaau in a car, leading to a seven-year sentence.
Letourneau gave birth to the couple’s second child, Georgia, while in prison.

Both daughters were raised by Fualaau’s mum until her release.
Fualaau was an adult by the time of Letourneau’s release and petitioned to the courts so they could see each other.
They married in 2005 and spent over 10 years together until their divorce in 2017.
Fualaau has spoken out about their relationship and said he was "not a victim" and is not ashamed of "being in love with Mary Kate".

Speaking during an interview with Dr OZ, Fualaau said: "There was no perversion and there was no history of her having any odd things with the other minors.
"There's nothing I can't say to people that don't care to listen or don't care to learn. But that is my wife and she is my best friend. And we had our kids together, and we did get married. And we had a whole life together."

In 2018, Audrey and Georgia Fualaau spoke with the Australian TV show 'Sunday Night' about the controversial relationship of their parents.
Their daughter Audrey said: "I think I understand about it, just like how it was surprising to people.
"It's been feeling different because it's not really been brought to our attention, just because we grew up with it, so we're adapted to it."
