A San Luis Valley already charged in connection with the killings of four people now faces a fifth murder charge.
Adre “Psycho” Baroz is charged with first-degree murder, tampering with deceased human remains and first-degree assault in connection with the death of Korina Arroyo, 31, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation reported in a news release.
Baroz already faces four counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Myron Martinez, Shayla Hammel, Selena Esquibel and Xavier Zeven Garcia. Baroz was identified by state and local investigators as a suspect after the remains of three human bodies were discovered on property in November in Conejos County.
Only two of the bodies have been identified: Martinez and Hammel. Those two were identified after a forensic dentist helped investigators, the CBI previously reported.
The others whose deaths Baroz is suspected in were reported as missing people.
Baroz was arrested in November in Gallup, New Mexico. He is being held in the Alamosa County Detention Center without bond.
