Twitter users have been left stunned at a Hull pub offering what some call a local 'delicacy.'
Hull local Charis Scott-Holm took to the platform yesterday to share a picture of one of the menus from The Sailmakers Arms in Old Town showing what some might call an unusual combo.
The popular venue on High Street has been a fixture in the city since 1988 and promises traditional home-cooked food, music, real ales and ciders… but now will be known for its Pot Noodle and any pint deal.
For the low price of just £5.95, customers can pick any pint and have a choice of one Chicken and Mushroom, Beef and Tomato or Bombay Bad Boy Pot Noddle to chase it.
Fans of Original Curry and Sticky Rib flavour are said to be fuming.
Describing her awe after stumbling upon the offering Charis said: "Ah that famous Hull pub delicacy… a pot noodle and a pint???"
Some followers were left aghast, one said: "Stop it this can’t be real?" with the wisest advice of the day coming from another reply which read: "Just not in the same glass."

In their own description of the pub, the management at The Sailmakers say: "Situated near the Museums Quarter in Hull’s historic Old Town, The Sailmakers Arms offers a good selection of real ales and ciders, and quality locally-sourced home-cooked food.
"With our weekly events, you will never be without something to do. We have an open mic night on Wednesdays, a jam on Sundays and always something going on.
"Boasting a large sun-catching courtyard beer garden and an open fire, The Sailmakers Arms is the perfect retreat all year round."
The Sailmakers has a full menu available from their website with more details on the Pot Noddle offer there too. Find us there with a Beef and Tomato and pale ale combo very soon.
