Prince William has barely spoken to Harry since upcoming memoir announcement

Prince William is said to have "barely spoken" to brother Prince Harry since the announcement of the latter's upcoming memoir.

The Duke of Sussex is finally set to release his book, Spare, on January 10 following a series of delays and alleged edits to change up the "explosive" memoir.

But according to one expert, Prince Harry and the Prince of Wales, William, have barely spoken to one another after the announcement of the book launch, which will hit shelves at the start of next year.

The Prince of Wales' silence over the past few months regarding the book launch was noted by one expert, who says the Royal Family are waiting on "tenterhooks" for the release.

But one royal expert believes the family will have "lawyers ready" for the release of the book and will be set to read it.

They, however, "won't see it until it's out" and until then, The Firm and their legal representatives will likely be left in the dark, according to royal expert Angela Levin.

Speaking to The Sun, Levin revealed: "They have lawyers ready to read it but they won't see it until it's out. If it's too bland it won't be worth the millions they've already paid him."

Daily Star previously reported that the new date came after "last-minute changes" were prompted by the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Rumours over the release of the book following the death of Her Majesty had swirled for some months, but it appears a series of new edits that are "watering down" the book are set to change up Harry's writings.

Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, is said to be a personal look into the life of the Duke of Sussex, who said it would be a depiction of "the man I have become."

Penguin Random House are said to have sent Prince Harry a £35million contract, with half the funding sent to the Duke of Sussex before the publication of his book.

Harry's book will be released on January 10, with the contents currently unknown.
