As Prince George celebrates his ninth birthday today, experts are desperate to analyse the image of the youngster released by his mother Kate Middleton overnight.
The new photo shows him dressed in a light blue Polo shirt, all smiles as he posed for mum and photographer Kate on a sandy beach in the UK.
It has become the Cambridge family's tradition to release the photo a day before the birthdays of their children, George, 8, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4.

And it is almost always taken by Kate to mark each of their birthdays every year.
However, in a sign that they're preparing him for the media spotlight, George has been photographed many times over the last year at both the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and major sporting events.
The latest photo of young George, specifically his colour of polo shirt, shows a “sense of duty” a psychologist has said.
Speaking to the Express, psychologist and author of The Little Book of Colour, Karen Haller said: “Wearing the same hue when the Cambridges are showing they are coming together as a family represents themselves as a cohesive unit.
“When it comes to colour psychology darker blues communicates you are in a position of authority, trustworthy, reliable and can be depended on.
“You have a sense of duty and take that seriously with committed focus. There is also an adverse side to blue. That is you can come across as aloof and distant.

“And they don’t want to inadvertently create the feeling that they are unapproachable.”
The exact time of George's birthday is 4.42pm.
He was born in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in 2013, weighing 8lb 6oz.
No details as to how the lad will celebrate his birthday have been revealed, but the Daily Star has contacted Prince William and Kate Middleton's team for comment on that.
