The heartbroken mum of a young woman found dead with her boyfriend has launched a fundraiser to give her "the send-off she deserves".
Bethany Mcmanus, 20, and Gerry Mooney, 26, were found dead within a property in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, Scotland.
Their deaths last Sunday are currently being treated as 'unexplained', GlasgowLive reports.
Bethany's mum Nicola Morrison has launched the fundraiser to pay for the funeral and give her daughter 'the send-off she deserves'.
On the fundraising page, the mum said she has been left 'completely shattered and destroyed' by Bethany's sudden death.
She wrote: "I am completely shattered and destroyed at losing my gorgeous daughter so young and so very sudden. No parent should ever need to bury a child but after much looking around, I cannot manage to raise the funds needed to give my daughter the send off she deserves.
"I am asking if anyone would please consider donating to the page to help is the family bury our beautiful daughter. Any donation will make a big, big difference.
"And I thank you all from the bottom of my heart."
A £3,000 target has been set for the funeral, with over £900 already donated by well-wishers.
Tributes were paid to former Kirkintilloch High School pupil Bethany who was described as a "lovely" friend after her death.
Posting a heartfelt tribute on social media, one friend said: "I'm lost for words here. I'm in shock with this. You will always have a place in my heart.
"All the memories we had were amazing. 15 years has really went by, I'm just glad I had you by my side.
"You had been through so much in such a short time. Your life hadn't really begun and you're gone. You will truly be missed by many people. Things will never be the same without you. You're my best friend.
