Michelle Obama shares poignant message in tribute to husband Barack on Father’s Day

In the photo, Barack is holding cuddling eldest both his children with a huge smile on his face.

Alongside the photo, Michelle wrote a powerful caption.

She said: “Thank you for the way you love our girls – and all the young people in this country, no matter who they are or where they come from.”

More than two million people like the photo posted on Instagram.

Fans of the Obama’s took to the comments section to wish the family a happy Father’s Day, whilst suggesting Barack was the “best president”.

Other celebrities focused on how fathers could guide their children.

Current US President Donald Trump’s wife Melania posted a yellow rose on social media.

In the caption, she said: “Today we celebrate all fathers for their love, dedication and wisdom to help guide our youth to help them succeed and grow.

“Happy Father’s Day.”

Ivanka Trump, celebrated the day on social media honouring her husband Jared.

She posted: “Grateful for all the sweet memories and excited to make so many more!

Plenty of celebrities took to Twitter to honour their fathers like Michelle, Melania and Ivanka.

David Beckham paid tribute to his father, Ted on Instagram.

He shared a photo of the pair when David was a young lad.

The ex-footballer said: “Happy Father’s Day dad x Love you

“Thank you for giving me the drive and work ethic to succeed.”

Whilst Victoria also repeated the same gesture for her father.

Posting a photograph as a baby in the arms of her dad, Anthony Adams she said: “Happy Father’s Day Xx I love you so much xxx’

Whilst Kate Middleton also shared a photo of her husband, with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

@KensingtonRoyal Twitter also released a photo taken by the Duchess of her husband and Prince Charles embracing at the Sandringham estate last December.
