Meghan and Harry send little Archie to nursery to learn emotional literacy

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's tot Archie has begun nursery where he's learning "emotional literacy" and how to look after the environment.

The school, a favourite by celebrities living in California, is further away than the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes home, according to reports.

The nursery teaches students mindfulness, how to be kind, and "emotional literacy" to young people.

Meghan was seen driving little Archie, two, to school, carrying his green backpack and space-themed lunchbox, writes The Mirror.

A parent of one of his classmates has said Harry does a lot of the brunt work of the school runs.

They claimed: “Harry often drops Archie off and picks him up, and seems like a good dad. All the parents have been laidback in welcoming Harry and Meghan, without making a fuss. And to the other kids, Archie is just one of them.

“They don’t know his parents are royalty, and probably wouldn’t care – unless Meghan was a Disney princess.”

The school is a far cry from Mynors' Nursery School, where Harry and his brother Prince William attended when they were young.

The site is just five minutes from Kensington Palace in London, and the royal siblings learned reading, writing, and numbers amid play at the school.

However, Archie's nursery choice reflects Harry's emphasis on the environment and mental health, and Meghan's passion for compassion and caring.

The nursery has small class sizes and puts great stress on the environment, and features gardens with fruit trees, butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.

Students are able to get close to nature by helping to grow and harvest vegetables.

The learners also have the advantage of being taught Spanis, dance, music, theatre, and coding.

It comes after reports that the Duke and Duchess are looking to 'sell' their £11million mansion in Montecito as they "aren't over the moon about it".

A source claimed the royal pair haven't officially put their luxury pad on the market, but would be interested if the right offer came for the 14-bedroom pile.

Harry and his wife Meghan bought the luxury home in Montecito, an area of Santa Barbara County known for secluded private estates and celebrity houses.

The insider says the pair are not thrilled about the nin-bedroom pad, which boasts a swimming pool, tennis court, and a gym.

The insider claimed: "They are thinking of selling their house there. However, it won’t be on the market because of who they are. It’s only being shown to people who are confirmed with funds and are serious buyers.”

The Sussexes quit royal life in March 2020 and moved to the US with little Archie, now two, before welcoming baby Lilibet Diana in June last year.
