A petrol station has exploded and blasted through an adjacent building with cars parked below.
Applegreen Service Station in Creeslough, County Donegal, has been ripped apart by an explosion behind which the reason is so far unknown.
Police have cordoned off the area for fire fighters and ambulance workers.
In a statement, gardaí said they are "assisting other emergency services at the scene of a serious incident".
Scene images show the garage completely wrecked with bricks scattered across the tarmac, parts of the roof peeling off and solar panels sliding off a building which has lost an entire three storey wall.
