A man was left stunned after he spotted a random woman relaxing in his pool having stripped off all her clothes to cool down during a heatwave.
The naked swimmer was eventually plucked from the water by bemused cops in Florida and arrested.
She did apparently make a dramatic run for it – but was caught in the front garden of the house in Port Charlotte.
The local 42-year-old woman refused to give her name and was eventually identified from a previous mugshot.
She was arrested for having jumped nude into the pool of a private house in Cambridge Drive in Charlotte County.
NBC reports Heather Kennedy is now facing charges.
She is accused of trespassing, and resisting arrest after refusing to leave while skinny dipping in a stranger’s pool, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was coming home from a doctor’s appointment when he noticed clothing scattered across his lanai, deputies said.
It didn’t take long for the trail of clothing to lead to the nude female lounging about in his cooling pool waters.
Homeowner Jim Clark said: “We looked out and saw a woman in the swimming pool with no clothes on.

“My first thought was that I could get rid of them pretty quick, but then decided I had better not and called the sheriffs.”
He said they were somewhat startled by the call, and Jim added: “One of them told me they had never had a call like this one.
“When the officers arrived, she was not a happy camper.

“We had four police cars here and from the outside, you would think something terrible has happened here but it was just a free swimmer.”
When deputies arrived the woman was hostile towards them and demanded they leave her alone, NBC reports.
Deputies said they told Kennedy to get dressed and get out of the pool multiple times before she finally got out and put her clothes on.
It is claimed she then pulled away from deputies trying to detain her and told them she would not be going anywhere, deputies said.
Kennedy was taken to the Charlotte County Jail where she refused to reveal her identity to authorities, according to the arrest report.
Investigators later identified her by looking at past jail booking photos, the news channel says.
