Police are investigating the Monday night shooting death of a man at an Aurora gas station and convenience store, according to authorities.
The name of the victim will not been released until it is verified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office, said a Tuesday Aurora police news release.
Police do not have someone in custody for the shooting, the news release said.
Police were called about a shooting at 291 S. Sable Blvd., the location of a Circle K gas station and convenience store, at 9:20 p.m., the release said.
They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken in critical condition to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the news release said.
Aurora police are asking anyone with information about this fatal shooting to call 303-739-6068. They can remain anonymous by contacting Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. They could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
