A man has been charged in connection with the murder of two eight-year-old twins and their older sister.

The man will appear in Dublin’s Criminal Courts of Justice at 9pm after Christy and Chelsea Cawley and their 18-year-old sister Lisa Cash died during an incident in their home in Tallaght, Dublin.

The trio were all found with suspected stab wounds and earlier today it was reported that the twins were allegedly thrown out a window following the attack.

Police confirmed the man was arrested following the incident.
