A Louisville police SUV was destroyed in a fire that investigators believe was a case of targeted arson.
According to a release, the unoccupied vehicle was in the area of 855 W. Dillon Road at 2:13 a.m. Sunday when it was set on fire.
There were no injuries, but the vehicle was a total loss. The cost to replace it is estimated to be $70,000.
Police believe that the vehicle was specifically targeted and that there is no threat to the public at this time. The Louisville Police Department is working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to investigate the incident.
