Kate Middleton and Prince William have marked Prince Louis' third birthday by releasing a sweet picture of their youngest son on his first day of nursery school.
Little Louis turns three on Friday, April 22, and currently attends Willcocks Nursery School, the same nursery Princess Charlotte attended.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will likely celebrate the tot's birthday privately at home, but released a sweet snap for the public to enjoy.
It is understood budding photographer Kate Middleton took the picture of her son, who is seen wearing a jumper, shirt, shorts and with his rucksack on his back.
Prince Louis' small hands can also be seen gripping the handlebars of his bike as he appears ready to cycle off to nearby Willcocks.
The charming picture is just one of many images the Duchess of Cambridge has released recently, honouring late Prince Philip with a photo of her eldest son Prince George.
Prince George, who will one day be king, was snapped sitting next to his grandfather, while Philip held the reins of his beloved horse and carriage.

The Duke of Edinburgh's death sparked an outpouring of tributes from celebrities, members of the public, world leaders, and of course, other members of the Royal Family.
His grandson, Prince William, thanked the Duke for his "mischievous sense of humour" and said he will "never take for granted" the special memories his children, Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte have "of their great-grandpa."
Prince William said: "I will never take for granted the special memories my children will always have of their great-grandpa coming to collect them in his carriage and seeing for themselves his infectious sense of adventure as well as his mischievous sense of humour!"
