Joe Biden took three attempts to read “the jobs” correctly during the press conference. The US President has been prone to make blunders during his press briefings since replacing Donald Trump.

Mr Biden said: “This job. This jobs. The jobs that are to be created here.”

President Biden has in the past struggled with a stammer but this incident seemed to involve him misreading the words on the prompter.

The US President was also mocked on social media for whispering during a press conference this week.

These incidents are the latest in a host of strange press conference moments since Joe Biden became US President.

In March 2021, Biden was noticeably shaky throughout a press conference as he stumbled and misstated facts despite using a “cheat sheet”.

Joe Biden was pictured holding a sheet with information regarding the journalists he planned to call for questions during the press conference.

The US President stated that America was ranked 85th in the world for infrastructure before letter correcting himself and clarifying the US is 13th.

Mr Biden said: “I still think the majority of the American people don’t like the fact that we are now ranked what, 85th in the world in infrastructure.

He later clarified: “We rank 13th globally in infrastructure.”

The US President cut himself off during the press conference: “And the other thing we’re doing, I might add…am I giving you too long of an answer? Because if you don’t want the detail.

“I don’t know how much detail you want about immigration, maybe I’ll stop there.”

Mr Biden also stated: “I’ve never been particularly poor at calculating how to get things done in the United States Senate. So the best way to get something done, if you hold near and dear to you that you like to be able to…

“Anyway, we’re ready to get a lot done.”

New York Times author Candance Owens tweeted following the press conference: “Joe Biden had a cheat sheet with the names and faces marked of which journalists to call on, and he knew EXACTLY what questions would be asked of him.

“That was not a press conference—that was a play put on by bad faith actors in a pseudo-democracy.”

The US President is 78 and will be 82 years old by the time his 4-year term ends.

President Biden is the oldest US President in history and was sworn in as the US’s 46th President in January 2021.

A health assessment from experts at The George Washington University in 2019 classed the President as “healthy” and “vigorous.”
