Ivanka Trump discusses being 'competitive' like her father in 2014
The First Daughter was mocked on the social media platform after she shared the snap of him standing in from of Mount Rushmore, to the right of former presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The image, taken from a campaign rally to mark Independence Day, was accompanied by a caption that read: “Amazing photo of @realDonaldTrump during his visit to Mount Rushmore on July 3, 2020.”
But the tweet sparked negative comments about the 45th US president as some accused the First Daughter of being narcissistic.
Others cited Mr Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic as the reason why he should not be immortalised alongside the other presidents.
One Twitter user jokingly said the snap was a prank on President Trump.
They said: “The photographer undoubtedly took that photo as a goof.

“They can’t add another president to Mount Rushmore, but if they could your father would not only be the last president in the world they’d add, he’d be the last person in the world they’d add.”
Another person added: “His face will NEVER be added to Mount Rushmore.
“The Narcissism in Trump’s family is extraordinary.”
A third user said: “Wish I could reply with a photo of each of the 289,121 Americans who’ve lost their lives to COVID as your father golfs.
“Your husband felt it best not to nationally test for a perceived political advantage.

“He is literally the LAST president whose image belongs on Mount Rushmore.”
Mocking the fact that Mr Trump missed the chance to secure a second term during the November election, one user said: “All the presidents in this picture were re-elected except one.”
However, other followers seemed to have a more positive outlook on the photograph, with some backing a potential addition to the famous landmark.
One user said: “Way before anything was mentioned about the possibility of @realDonaldTrump being added to Mount Rushmore I had a very vivid dream that it was added to the right side. It will be added. Absolutely no doubt.”
Another person added: “Ivanka, if there ever was a president that deserved to be on Mount Rushmore it’s your father. He is the best president I’ve witnessed my lifetime.”
Mr Trump had previously speculated about having his face added to the monument, which was completed in 1941.
In August he said on a tweet that he believed it would be a “good idea” to include him there.
However, due the structure of the mountain, it is not considered possible to add more sculptures to it.
