The sole victim of a devastating gas explosion on Mallowdale Avenue, Heysham, has been identified as two-year-old toddler named George.
Lancashire Police were called to the area at around 2.40am on Sunday May 16th after a gas explosion demolished two houses and seriously damaged a third.
Four adults are injured in the tragedy and despite the best efforts of Lancashire Police force, George, 2, died.
George's devastated parents paid their respects to their "beautiful" son who was "so precious" to them.
The family said they're still coming to "terms with what has happened," but said their son had turned into an angel and "grew wings."
Paying tribute, George's parents said: "We are devastated at the loss of our beautiful George.
"He was so precious to us. We have no words to describe how we feel and just want time to ourselves to come to terms with what has happened.
"Our beautiful little angel grew his wings today."
