Customers at a Greggs branch got a shock today as a man was spotted eating his meal completely naked.

The photo, shared by @ScrtDrugAddict on Twitter, shows the man seated at a table eating what appears to be soup and a baked good with nothing but shoes and socks on.

While he's digging into his lunch, a Greggs employee can be seen staring at the man.

The tweet was sent out at 11.34am on Saturday (March 26) with the caption: "There’s a naked man eating in my local Greggs? @GreggsOfficial."

The poster was quickly shared thousands of times as people shared their comedic thoughts on the experience. One person questioned how the man had been served in the first place.

Dr Benjamin Janaway replied: "There is a lot to unpack here. First off, he has been served…"

Rebecca Jules tweeted: "The waiter just looking at him, uncertain whether to ask him to leave. What I want to know is, did they serve him when he was naked or did he strip off after? Doesn't look like he brought any clothes with him. Footnote: I've never seen such a swanky looking Greggs."

Another Twitter user couldn't make up their mind as to whether they were gutted or relieved when they went to their local branch.

Jo tweeted: "Just been in my local Greggs but there wasn't one in there. Not sure if I'm disappointed or relieved…."

@Thebeardedgenius quoted the tweet saying: "Live and let live, but some poor b*****d's gonna have to wipe that seat clean."

Someone quoted the tweet pointing out the irony of the situation. @figuregirl774 wrote: "That’s enough to put you off sausage rolls for life."

It's unclear which branch of the popular bakery chain the naked man was dining in.
