A glamorous nightclub owner has been arrested, suspected of running a child prostitution ring.
Samara Nascimento Nobrega, 34, known as "Barbie" on account of her looks, was arrested in Parnaiba, Brazil, last week.
Her arrest came after a unnamed girl, 17, was allegedly forced to prostitute herself at one of Nobrega's two establishments.

Investigators said the teenage girl was paid the equivalent of £31 for every customer she had sex with.
Nobrega was charged with prostituting minors, with investigations into Nobrega and her nightclubs ongoing. Authorities are acting upon information regarding multiple minors.
Nobrega and her boyfriend were also charged with stealing electricity from the grid.
According to local media she owns two nightclubs – one in Parnaiba and the other in Luis Correia, both cities in the north-eastern Brazilian state of Piaui.
Authorities initially launched the investigation after an exchange of information between the Civil Police in Piaui and officials from the state of Para.
When they visited Nobrega's nightclub in Parnaiba they found a 17-year-old girl allegedly prostituting herself.
Williams Pinheiro, the regional delegate of Parnaiba, said: "We received information that there was an investigation in Para regarding possible teenagers who left Belem, in Para, and were being managed by a person here in our city.
"We started our investigation and identified the houses where the minors were and they were busted at 'Sitio da Barbie'."
Nobrega's boyfriend was arrested immediately. She was found a short while later and also arrested.
Pinheiro said: "A preventive arrest warrant was served against her for the crime of prostitution of minors under 18 and for theft of energy."
According to local reports, Nobrega actually ran for public office in 2020 and received 68 votes. She went on to become a substitute councillor.
Investigations are ongoing, with authorities looking to identify others victims of child prostitution.
