A 15-year-old girl was brutally beaten and murdered by her classmate after revealing she was pregnant with his baby.
Schoolgirl Lucia Fernandez is believed to have been repeatedly hit over the head with a rock and fatally stabbed more than a dozen times in the neck and the stomach in Mendoza, Argentina.
Local new site TN reported that her 14-year-old classmate, who has not been not named, is believed have murdered baby-faced Lucia on Tuesday (August 24) after she told him she was pregnant.
Lucia's father Fabián Fernández said: "He killed her like a dog, stabbing her all over the body and leaving her face beaten to a pulp."
Before the horrific murder took place, the suspect allegedly asked Lucia to meet him in an abandoned house where he brutally beat her and then stabbed her between 10-15 times.
The boy then left Lucia's dead body in the house and fled the scene.
The mother-to-be was discovered by a neighbour just 20 minutes later, but devastatingly her injuries were so severe that she had already passed away.
An autopsy has since found that Lucia had suffered various injuries from being beaten and stabbed all over the body, but her death was caused by a deep stab wound in the stomach.

The local community was understandably shaken by the teen's death, holding a rally to demand that the authorities get to the bottom of the killing.
Lucia's alleged murderer was found after a witness eventually told the police that he had seen her classmate near the abandoned house at the time of the crime.

Authorities detained the 14-year-old boy, who ended up confessing to the gruesome murder after she told him she was pregnant.
The police raided the teens home and found a pair of trainers covered in blood and the knife that they believe he stabbed his classmate with.

The investigation is ongoing and is currently being handled by the Juvenile Criminal Prosecutor, Gustavo Farmache.
