A former police officer has claimed she felt forced to quit her job in the force when her secret OnlyFans account was found by colleagues.

Melissa Williams, 46, first launched her raunchy account in May 2020 and began posting photos of herself with her husband to try and spice up the couple's sex life.

The mum-of-two, who had been working in the police service for 28 years, also used the site to destress from her dangerous and high-intensity job.

But the once fun side gig turned sour when her boss and colleagues discovered the trove of kinky pictures.

Melissa, from Colorado, claims she was made to feel ashamed and pushed out of her long-standing role.

"Being a police officer was my life’s dream from the age of 14," the model, who has 4,000 followers on Instagram (@the.real.bella.lexi.2), said.

The cop and her husband had been pocketing a healthy living on OnlyFans for the last 18 months, sharing the naughty images under the alias Lexi Bella – a "milf and wife-next-door".

But in August 2021, her boss received an anonymous tip about her out-of-work activities.

Soon after this, Melissa claims she had an official complaint turn up in her email inbox and discovered that her colleagues had been gossiping about her.

Some allegedly even signed up to her page.

The former officer said: “The complaint came totally out of the blue, I was in shock and panicking because I never wanted these two parts of my life to collide.

“Then I was angry and embarrassed because the notice went on to say how five colleagues of mine – all in lower and higher ranks than me – had obtained access to my paid account to access my private content so they could investigate my conduct.

“I didn’t feel that was professional or necessary. It felt like they all just wanted to see me naked.

“It felt like my bosses were policing my bedroom."

The ordeal led Melissa to be signed off work with anxiety and stress for 12 weeks by a doctor, who recommended that she shouldn't return to her job.

A severance package of $30,000 (£22,200) was put together by the local force and her lawyer in that time.

Despite resenting the way her colleagues treated her since discovering the page, Melissa believes that what happened is for the best and is now living her life as an OnlyFans model.

“I feel like I can hold my head high. I’m still the same mum, the same neighbour and person that I always was.

“I was a good cop too but unfortunately my private life appeared to have offended my bosses.

“If you ask me, all of this could have been handled with a professional conversation.

“Instead I felt I was a really good police officer and felt pushed out of a really good career because of prudishness.”
