Aurora police are investigating a suspected homicide after a 20-year-old woman was brought by friends to a hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound late Sunday and later died.
Officers with the Aurora Police Department were notified of the shooting, which occurred near North Ursula Street and East 13th Place, around 11:45 p.m. Sunday after the victim’s arrival at the hospital.
Aurora police announced Monday morning that the woman had died.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s identity.
Police did not release any information about a possible suspect.
Investigators are looking for additional details about Sunday’s shooting and are offering up to $2,000 in reward as well as anonymity to tipsters who contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
