Several Denver Public Schools with no air conditioning will release students early Tuesday due to near-record temperatures.

At least seven schools have made announcements on their websites or social media accounts about the early releases:

Stedman Elementary: Releasing at 1 p.m.

Polaris Elementary: Releasing at 12:30 p.m.

McMeen Elementary: Releasing at 11:40 a.m.

Goldrick Elementary: Releasing at 11:40 a.m.

Godsman Elementary: Releasing at 12 p.m.

Bryant Webster Dual Language School: Releasing at 12:30 p.m.

Cowell Elementary: Releasing at 12 p.m.

More Schools may be added to the list of early releases.

Many DPS locations started the school year with no air conditioning. Temperatures are expected Tuesday to reach 96 degrees.
